in my opinion, being mentally prepared and determined is a great factor for you to achieve your goal (whatever goal it may be) whether it's as simple as being fit or as complex as changing a bad habit.
i agree with brit, we have to be mentally prepared not just in loosing weight but also in other endeavors. we should keep in mind that we don't usually get instant results so we have to be patient and committed to what we are doing.
hello dcamp, sure it's important you have to have the will to do the goals you have in mind, you have to have enough drive to reach your goals it's like having a focused mindset.
Mental preparedness applies to everything that we do and it includes work-out. I think being mentally matures set goals and devise plans to achieve them. And definitely requires commitment to what you are doing. So be prepared.
You have to be mentally prepared when you commit yourself to workouts..because it helps, makes and keeps you motivated in what you are doing... You know that some individuals are hindering their progress the most because they lack in mentalpreparation!
At one point this is right. Sometimes your brain tells you so many things and you loose focus. When You think about fitness you should really be prepared because fitness is not something that you get by merely sitting. Getting it requires a lot of effort. When it comes to loosing weight proper mindset is needed to achieve what ever your goals are. So it is right Fitness requires all the mental preparation you can muster.
