Years ago, i go to gym every Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. But calculating the costs i've spent it was almost i can build my own simple studio..
Now I am working out at my home..a bench press, and a treadmill..
Working out frm home is awesome. I only work out from home and you don't need very much gear.
I use:
- 150 LBS weights in various exercises from curls to pullovers to standing military press and others. - chin up bar for pull ups and chins - swiss ball for various crunches, dumbbell pullovers, raised feet push ups etc.. - ab wheel - 1 curling bar, 1 straight bar and 2 dumbbells. - 2 chairs for dips and tricep extensions - stair master for wicked cardio - 1 wall for hand stand push ups or negatives depending on your level.
There is a ton of body resistance exercises you can do and supplement with weights and you will find yourself ripped in not time.

Yeah I agree with you corio, you just have to learn to improvise
There are SOOOO many sites on the internet dedicated to this approach so learning is easier then you think. People just have to get out of that mind set that a gym is absolutely required to get into amazing shape. It is SO not..
Well and if you need help enriching your exercises routines at home here you have plenty of exercise video demonstration to vary it: Free demosntrations I hope it helped. Cheers
I was planning to have a mini gym at home too after the noisy crowd of gyms have had me enough. But as soon as I plan to buy this 15 in 1 machine I realized that since I'm a newbie, I need the assistance of the instructors from gym and settling to the home equipment might do me no good. So after I guess about a year(when I know all the stuff), I'll pursue that convenient gym at home... -;-; Learn the complete no-nonsense guide into having that six pack abs you've been always dreaming.
