are bench press shirts really effective? a friend recommends using it but I'm really not sure if its worth trying.
haven't tried it, but I heard that you need someone to help you in putting it on. quite complicated i guess.

bench press shirts help protect your chest and shoulder muscles when heavy benching. it supports your muscle when lifting heavy weights. it's worth a try because it helps you in lifting

Its really no need to use a bench shirt if you aren't entering into a powerlifting competition. Bench shirts are for powerlifters. No need to use it if you don't plan on doing a powerlifting competition soon.
Do you really need to wear this at home? Will the use of bench press be more effective if you wear this shirt? I am really curious, I have seen some of this and read about it but I don't really understand their purpose. Hope you could explain this further.. Thanks!
