i heard from a gym friend that these energy drinks pose risks in our behavior. very detrimental. can anyone here elaborate on the subject please! thank you!

Yeah I learned that too.. It becomes dangerous when you consume too much of it or they said when you mix it with alcohol.

I'm not surprised about this news. I am not really a fan of energy drinks. I work out a lot and I also do some running but still I don't drink hose energy drinks. I think they are too artificial and who knows how many chemicals were mixed on those fruity colored water. For me WATER is still the best refresher. It is safe and all natural.

As much as possible don't try to substitute Water with other energy drinks available in any stores. Water has all the essential and natural nutrients that you can't get from artificial refreshers such as energy drinks. Besides the fact that energy drinks are expensive and water is everywhere.
