i found this from a friend's blog (i think she got this from some fitness website):
a 9-week running program that'll supposedly make you lose weight and be healthier:
Week 1: 5mins warm-up walk/alternate 60sec jog & 2mins walking/ total 20mins
Week 2: 5mins warm-up walk/alternate 90sec jog & 2mins walking/ total 20mins
Week 3: 5mins warm-up walk/2reps of 90sec jog/90 sec walk /jog 3mins/walk 3mins
Week 4:
5mins warm-up walk/3mins jog/ 90sec walk/ 5mins jog/2.5mins walk/
3mins jog/
90sec walk/ 5mins jog
Week 5:
5mins warm-up walk/5mins jog/3 mins walk/5mins jog/3mins walk/5mins jog
Week 6:
5mins warm-up walk/5mins jog/3mins walk/8mins jog/3mins walk
Week 7:
5mins warm-up walk/jog 25mins
Week 8:
5mins warm-up walk/jog 28mins
Week 9:
5mins warm-up walk/jog 30mins

*this program should be followed 3X a week for 9 months.

Hi there guys! I know this thread started way back August. But I just recently joined this forum and I think this is what I really need. Been busy for the past months (all I do is work, eat and sleep). Of course that's the reason why I gained some weight and I want to stay fit again (since I'll be having some vacation at work) and I think this would be a perfect routine to start with.

And by the way how did it worked out for you guys who tried the routine?

Wow this thread is amazing. I think what you're doing is really great. Doing routines with other who are health buffs is really fun. I am glad I found this forum. Hope I could still catch up with you guys.
