Hi fitness community! I've been working out for already a month now,i know i need to exert extra effort, it's just really hard for me to push myself to do more. There are times when i feel so lazy to work out, is there anything you guys do to be motivated? Please help me!

Hey Helena, I can't really help you on the 'motivation' part because it really comes from within. But when working out you can try counting down (10 down to 1) reps instead of counting up (1 up to 10), this works for me 'coz it's more likely for me to push the last one than if I counted from 1-10.
It would be great if you'll have a buddy to
work out with, someone who will motivate you on times you just don't feel like doing it.
Hopefully you'll get the hang of it!
im not the type who likes working out too, but what usually motivates me is how much weight i've already lost and that the thought of getting heavy again if i dont keep up.

that's true. i usually ask some of my friends if they want to join me to go running/jogging. and i usually feel like i've worked out "without sweating" (figuratively speaking of course). haha.

I also agree with you. Having someone or a group of friends with can be your motivation. And also, think of a time you really want to workout so that you will really see the results of what you've done for the past weeks or months.
i'm really lazy when it comes to workingout so i just make my workout fun by trying new things and mixing things so that it wouldn't be boring and repetitive. you just have to find a workout routine that would be interesting to you.

Motivation... How 'bout if you try posting the picture of Jessica Alba on your wall as a role model or as a source of inspiration...
By the way, whenever I feel lazy working out, I always tell myself that if don't work-out right now I'll end up as a fat pig (funny but, true)...
Goals will keep you motivated. Set your goals and give your self an ample time to achieve this goals. Keep in mind also that you work out not only because you would look beautiful if you are pounds lesser but because it will help you live a longer and healthier life.
Motivation comes within you. Your aspirations in life is the best thing that can give you all the motivation you need to keep you going. However don't workout because of anybody else work out for yourself and yourself alone. Doing it for others won't give you the boost believe me.
setting up all your goals will really motivate you. You have to properly identify the reasons why you are working out. Without goals your work out will be meaningless and would be hard to do. From now on keep in mind your goals and surely everything will be fine.
What motivates me is the results. I do super setting when I workout so reps is not something I care about. All my exercises are performed until muscle failure..
Somebody once told me that.."There is nothing more priceless then the feeling you get after a good workout". That sentence really drove me and inspired me to keep at it, that was 3 years ago. I couldn't imagine my fitness program not being a huge part of my weekly routine and life..
Once you start seeing results you will be fired up to keep it up, but make sure your diet is as good as your training program or your results will be slow to surface or will not surface due to it being buried below a thick layer of fatty tissue ;)
