Hello guys, I need your help. Is it really possible to have six pack abs in just a month? I want to achieve a sick pack abs but I just don't know exactly what work out or routine should I be doing. After searching online, and trying a few workouts, I just don't seem to believe that timeline. Can you suggest what's the best work out to achieve a toned body? I'm currently doing push ups and some cardio workouts

hi chad, I guess it all boils down to discipline, if you have it then you'll achieve it, but having a 6 pack abs doesn't come in one package you have to work on it. By the way, you didn't mention your current weight and height as well so it's quite hard to give some advice. But a good diet plan along with regular workout will def help you achieve the 6pack abs. Goodluck! update us ok?

having a trainer would help, but if you don't want to spend so much on this then you must incorporate both a daily aerobic exercise routine and a sensible eating plan to your routine. Also, try doing bicycle maneuver and crunches on an exercise ball. :)

i agree with all the suggestions. but here's the thing, don't be frustrated if you don't get your ideal results in just exactly one month. the main focus is that your body is responding to your workout and that you are getting results anyway. just be patient.

Diet, lots of cardio and various abdominal exercises

- various type of crunches
- bicycle ab exercise

Step 1: modify diet to reduce sugars, overabundance of carbs, saturated fats

Step 2: Increase you cardio regimen to burn off some of your excess body fat

Step 3: Do plenty of Ab exercises along with your regular workout routine..

Good luck!

weather or not it's possible to have a 6 pack in a month depends a great deal on where you are at now. Having a 6 pack means having your body fat quite low. In a month's time you can certainly make a difference in your body fat, but if you have a lot to lose you won't be able to do it in a month. Getting the body you want takes time, but it's worth the time!
Doing BOTH weight training and cardio are important. Nutriton is paramount though. Getting a 6 pack without eating right is next to impossible.

Sarah hit it right on the nose. First of all, the average person will not have six pack abs without eating right. Nutrition is #1 when it comes to abs. My abs come in fairly easy because my body stays pretty low.

Even when I intentionally putting on weight, I’m usually at 12% body fat. That’s high for me. So, at 12% body fat, it takes me a about three weeks to get my abs showing. The average person is not 12%. Body fat depending on your current state, it will take longer than a month. So, just get your eating in check and you will start to see a big difference.

yes you're def right sarah. I've been so determined to tone my abs but then I realized I should also be eating healthy snacks, and now I can say that I'm more conscious and cautious of what I eat.

Well I have a 5 pack.. I wouldn't mind a 6th muscle but how your abs look is 'decided' at birth.. You can only build or cut fat to make them look better.. Or have silicone implants but that defeats the point of the object.

hehehe. i guess its called six packs because its the proper number of visible muscles... i mean having "2 packs" is way to few and having "10 packs" would be way to many (at least for me that is..) hehehe

By the way I just started using the 'Ab Wheel' and it is phenomenal.  Nothing can prepare you for the pain this thing can dish out to your core, nothing.  :)
