sweating is just normal, in fact it's our body's healthy response to the exercises or activities we do, just be sure to drink lots of water to prevent dehydration. And one more thing, avoid working out at humid places.

Hey J_gal, yeah it's perfectly fine to sweat. I'm usually drenched whenever I finish working out. Just like what chad said, continue drinking water!

another advice J, choose work out clothes that are comfy and flexible at the same time! Cotton would be a great choice, it doesn't really need to be expensive, as long as you feel comfortable wearing it! :)

hi!
just to share about sweating excessively...
like what the others have said, it is normal.. in fact, what is abnormal is when you don't sweat much...
it means that dirts and fats are not "normally" or "freely" coming out of your body...
maybe it could be something wrong with the pores of skin or the amount of water in your body...
sometimes, while running or exercising, you can't feel that you are sweating..
you will only feel it when you stop... that's what i experienced...
hope this can erase your worries.. :)

yes helena...
but what like chad said, be sure you don't dehydrate...
just lots of water could help you maintain the amount of water in your body...

Sweating can be a sign that you are burning calories. It is perfectly normal especially when you do strenuous activities. You should never worry about it. The fact that you are sweating so much means that your body is making use of the excess calories which in the first place was your goal right? If you still don't loose weight, you might want to check the amount of food you intake. Maybe you should limit it some more and continue your work out. Hope I was able to help..

sweating is normal esp when you are working out. Be happy cause you are definitely burning extra calories If sweating, as you describe it is excessive then you should really drink a lot of water so to avoid dehydration. I know some people who are not sweating at all or who are sweating a little less than normal and guess what they don't like the feeling because according to them it's as if there body does not get rid of all the dirt. Fact is sweating varies from person to person maybe it just happened that you belong to those that produces a lot but I don't think you should be alarmed at all.

I couldn't agree more with you MLisa , It's just a normal reaction for the body to seat when we do some strenuous exercise, work, task, etc. It only means that you are burning fats... hehehehe
