Beauty and Health: Cellulites Cellulite is a skin infection that can be defined as a lumpy substance where fat tissues have bands of connective tissues in them. It can affect any part of the body like legs, arms, foot, neck, face, buttocks, stomach and thighs. Such condition occurs from some cut, scratch or broken skin getting bacteria infection that later on leads to progressive bulky appearance with creases and layers of fats that are visible from afar. This can be very painful and can even swell on the affected areas.

Kids are more prone to this skin infection because they are more likely to get bruises and cuts due to their playful behavior. Often they are whiter or several shades lighter than their skin colors. The weight of the person, genetics and lifestyle can also contribute to his cellulite formation.

Studies show that women especially those 35 years of age and above are more prone to getting cellulites compared to men. On the other hand, it is also getting common to adolescent girls and young women and makes them not just physically conscious but also psychologically disturbed.

There are many ways to prevent cellulites. The best way to avoid getting cellulites is to engage in physical activities like exercise and proper workout. Eating the right kind and amount of food like having a healthy diet is also a way to reduce fat and cellulite condition from the body.

For kids, keeping them safe from bruises and cuts when playing and if they are into sports or outdoor activities then you might as well make them wear proper gear and equipments. If they have wounds or cuts, always wash it with soap and water and keep it clean by applying bandage or gauge.

Some experts recommend reducing the intake of fatty foods as these are harder to digest and can contribute in enlarging the size of the cellulites. Drinking too much alcohol and cigarette smoking also helps in building up toxins in our body and should be prevented.

Always make it a point that you have enough time for yourself to relax and have fun. After all, having a massage not just only makes you stress free but can also treat cellulite problems.
