Church Offers Fitness Programs
FRIDAY, 20 JULY 2021
If you think all that the church can do is to preach the good news about God and to lecture about how to be good and fight temptations, better think again. The church is all for fitness of the people, too.
The Plainfield Christian Church recently announced its Fun-Fitness program for children ages 5-12. Hand in hand with the fitness program for the kids, the church also offers aerobic classes for women. Moreover, there’s also a separate program for the nurseries or children between ages 1 and 4. All these fitness programs are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9:00 to 10:00 in the morning. The church only asks $2 per visit per family for these fitness programs.
As part of the fitness program, the children will do moderate running, calisthenics, group games, relays, contests, daily devotion time, nutrition counseling, plus a healthy and sumptuous snack each training day. Every Friday, children will do a water obstacle course, which are sure to rev up their senses and flex their muscles.
All participating children must be accompanied by an adult participating in aerobics or assisting the kids activities.
Plainfield Christian Church is a Christian congregation founded by Michael Combs in 1829. As of now, it has over 2,000 members spreading the word of God and propagating the wonders of God’s love. The church is located at 800 Dan Jones Rd. Plainfield IN.
