EVOLUTION to Provide Wellness Programs to Faculty

Bristol, RI - EVOLUTION Bodywork & Nutrition will be providing wellness programs for the faculty, staff, and students of the Bristol/Warren Regional School District at the Mount Hope High School Healthy Huskies Wellness Center.
EVOLUTION has begun this partnership by providing fitness classes during after school hours for interested students, faculty, and staff. Classes include Cardio Blast, Body Sculpt, and Power Yoga.
“It’s great to work with Evolution. They have programs that complement what we have here at the Wellness Center and we really wanted to expand our programming. Fitness classes are something we really wanted to do for everyone,” said TJ DelSanto, Wellness Center Director and Physical Education/Health Department Chair at Mount Hope High School.
The Healthy Huskies Wellness Center is Mt. Hope High School's one-of-a-kind, in-school fitness center featuring state-of-the-art cardiovascular and strength training equipment, including six treadmills, four cross-trainers, eight exercise bikes, a 13-station Nautilus strength training circuit, and more. The Wellness Center also features a 40-ft. horizontal climbing wall and a 20-ft. high vertical climbing wall.
The Healthy Huskies Wellness Center is the centerpiece of the Bristol/Warren fitness-focused physical education curriculum. Established in 2003, the Wellness Center was funded through a $110,500 Champlin Foundations grant awarded to their PE/Health department.
