Hi-tech Workout Helps Women Achieve Fitness Goals

Olympia, Washington - What's the buzz among women today? Perhaps it's the new machine which they say is bringing the intensity level of workouts to a new level.
CurvesSmart is an electronic monitoring system that provides moment-to-moment feedback and progress reports for each workout. The system basically uses technology to serve as a personalized fitness coach for club members.
Today, many fitness clubs have started employing the CurvesSmart. According to Kim Miller, owner of Curves for Women on Olympia's west side, the service is optional if clients want to use the machine or not. So far, she added, about one out of every three members regularly uses the new system at her club.
One of the advantages of using CurvesSmart, Miller said, is enabling the user to keep track of her workout.
