Raise Funds for Children's Hospital

In a move that may set a precedent, Television Frenzies is organizing a Silly Bandz Trading Day Fundraiser on October 2, 2010, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Mayfair Mall, Wisconsin. The retail company that is known to aggressively promote selective brands will donate the proceedings of the fundraiser to the Wisconsin community's children's hospital.

"None of us like to think of the bad things that happen in life," says Michael Morelli Jr., the President of television frenzies. "But one day you or your family may very well need the help of your community and this hospital." He further adds, "The smile and happiness of a healthy child is a heart-warming gift for everyone and at Television Frenzies we wholeheartedly believe in supporting children, who are our future.”

Silly Bandz is one of the primary products promoted and sold by Television Frenzies and the bands are a hit among people of all ages. They have high sales volumes across the nation because of the shapes they come in and the trend they have set off. You can get Silly Bandz in the shapes of animals, vehicles, celestial bodies, prehistoric animals, rock band paraphernalia and almost every other thing under the sun. They behave like normal rubber bands when stretched but when you release them they come back to their original shape, and they come in hundreds of shapes and sizes.

Considering the popularity of Silly Bandz, Television Frenzies has chosen this particular product as a theme to organize a fundraising event. They will donate 0.50 cents for every pack of silly bands sold. The executives at Television Frenzies estimate that considering the popularity of Silly Bandz and the location of the fund-raising event (the Mayfair mall) they should be able to raise a sizable donation.
