It isn’t by any strange coincidence or super-human genes that Hollywood Actress Jennifer Aniston looks as young as she does. The 42-year old actress and former star of NBC’s highly successful “Friends” TV-sitcom has been engaging the science of anti-aging foods. A recent article at BeWellBuzz.com looks into this growing health craze which has been providing men and women worldwide reduced facial wrinkles and enhance their glowing and youthful appearance.

Although many people say that the age of 42 is the new 29, it is quite amazing how much of a youthful appearance Aniston has maintained over the past few decades. For those suggesting that plastic surgery or Bo-Toxin treatments are what keeps her skin appealing, they’d be very wrong to assume this to be the case.

According to Carrie Waitt, Jennifer Aniston’s nutritionist and founder of the meal delivery service Diet Designs, the key was a high-protein and low carbohydrate diet, enriched with plenty of vegetables and fruits and absolutely zero processed foods.

It is no secret that many celebrities and many Americans for that matter adhere to strict, anti-aging diets and exercise routines in order to maintain their youthful appearance, but what is it specifically about Aniston’s diet which keeps her looking youthful and sexy? Once again, according to Waitt, Aniston lost over five kilos of weight during her anti-aging diet, in which she started her day with a healthy breakfast consisting of a bowl of muesli with skimmed milk and blackberries, and finished with a rhubarb and guava shake.

Aniston and other age defying celebrities are working towards fighting their age by eating just the right kind of foods that are good for their glowing skin and support consistent fitness. With a definitive diet plan, each celebrity consumes their daily dose of anti-aging foods in some form or another.

According to Bewellbuzz.com, scientific research on genetic sequencing has revealed that the telomere and telomerase enzymes are the main factor in DNA deterioration and aging. It’s the telomeres, the little caps on the end of your chromosomes, that control cell division. The longer these cells can live, the better your body can fight the signs of aging. Therefore, life and youth extension is possible when eating foods that limit degeneration of telomeres in the body.

It has been discovered that anti-aging foods comprise of large amounts of vitamin E, vitamin D or omega 3 fatty acids that claim to activate the telomerase activity in the cell and help in maintaining the length of telomeres on chromosomes. Today, scientific research has confirmed that consuming anti-aging foods like green tea, kale, walnuts, etc. regularly can help maintain health and retain youthfulness. Larger portions of super-foods and vitamin rich anti-aging foods like berries, sprouts and whole cereal grains and cutting down on carbs is a great way to keep those wrinkles at bay.

As the body gets older, one of the most visible side effects is wrinkles. Bewellbuzz.com advises on eating anti-aging foods to deal with this issue from the root. The antioxidants in anti-aging foods will help the body look and feel the best. This natural route will prevent the need of plastic surgery or other dangerous methods of staying youthful. Making dietary changes and eating anti-aging foods instead of carbs is a good choice for all those looking to keep themselves young and fit.

According to eMedicineHealth.com, more than one in five children between the ages of 6 and 17 are now considered overweight. The Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department and AvMed Health Plans joined forces to introduce the Morning Mile program to area camps last summer.

Over 1,200 campers logged an average of three miles a week as part of the program. With support from
AvMed, Miami-Dade Parks incorporated Fitzness International’s Morning Mile program into its already successful Fit-to-Play, Green-it-Up summer camp program. Campers, ages 6-14, were provided with a physical fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness program.

Campers from 20 Miami-Dade Parks participated in a morning run as part of the Morning Mile Program. Combined, the campers ran 26,079 miles, averaging three miles per week.

“Healthy habits should be learned at an early age,” says Ed Hannum, President and COO of AvMed Health Plans. “With childhood obesity being so high, the Morning Mile is an excellent program. It allows children to harness their energy into running so they started their day fit and ready.” Last year, AvMed teamed up with the Gainesville-based creator of Morning Mile, Fitz Koehler, to provide the program in select elementary schools in Gainesville.

“The Morning Mile program is a perfect fit for our Fit-to-Play, Green-it-Up summer camp program, where we teach children early in life of the importance of keeping fit and leading a healthy lifestyle through nutrition, physical activity and prevention,” said Jack Kardys, Director of Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department. “We want to thank AvMed and the Morning Mile for their support in helping us in our mission to provide excellent health and wellness programming to the children of Miami-Dade County.”

Health and wellness are an integral part of AvMed’s culture of community service. AvMed will be the presenting sponsor of Miami-Dade County’s fourth Great Park Summit April 18-19, when representatives from 34 area municipalities will gather to discuss the important role parks play in creating greener, healthier, more vibrant communities.

“Thanks to the children who participated, to the amazing staff of the Miami-Dade County Parks and to AvMed Health Plans who sponsored the programs down south,” said Koehler, Morning Mile founder. “The adults made aggressive decisions to ensure these children had the opportunity to become more fit and the children literally RAN with it. We’re oozing pride!”

Mike Nelson Introduces A New Fitness Program For 2012 That Delivers Maximum Results With Less Effort In Record Time.

Really want to drop weight but can't seem to get fast enough results?

A leader in the fitness industry for fifteen years and a researcher for nearly 20, Mike T Nelson teaches people to get Maximum Results from any weight loss program by understanding how and w
hen to exercise. For example - Fat loss requires that the majority of cardio gets done before you start your workout. Muscle strength, on the other hand, requires that just ten minutes of a warm up is done before, and then more cardio after free weight training is completed.

Mike consults for major athletes, scientific journals and government departments like DARPA.

An excerpt from this new program is as follows:
Never, ever skip cardio, even if the only goal is to build muscle mass, because the amount of cardio done is going to determine, to a large extent, how much blood volume a person's muscles have and how fast that blood can feed those muscles. So, cardio is a vital part of getting Maximum Results from any fat loss or muscle density program. But it’s also vital for building ultimate size and strength.

Next, proper form is essential to getting Maximum Results.

People who exercise two, three, four, five times a week but never seem to look different, are never going to get results until proper form is focused on.

If a person has sloppy exercise form, sloppy results or no results follow.

That equals wasted energy and wasted time - with no results to show for it. It’s sort of like going to a restaurant and ordering a really big, luscious meal and then getting the bill without ever getting the food. Getting Maximum Results requires excellent use of time.

So, if a person invests a certain number of hours each week exercising, then each and every week should improve the look of their body.

Mike tells a story of when he was in college "I used to work out in a gym that had a sign on the front door that said, 'Leave your ego at the door.' meaning that if a person has a goal to lift as much weight as possible, then that really wasn’t the right gym to be at. He only wanted people who could forget about the amount of weight they were lifting and focus on proper form, because he knew that proper form was the key to building a powerful body. And the key to proper form is to maintain the best angle of use when lifting any weight."

An example is...
When doing a regular biceps curl, picture a straight line going down the side of a person's head, all the way down the body to the side of the foot, one straight line – vertical – up and down.

The upper arm has to be locked into that angle at all times to get the most out of every rep. So, the upper arm should never move when doing a biceps curl. It’s just the forearm and the hand that moves.

Most people go into their workout with an almost random approach, and they just begin doing a few exercises for legs, one or two for arms, and so on. But the first concept to understand about getting Maximum Results from any weight loss or muscle program is that nothing about a workout should ever be random.

That’s not to say that variety isn’t absolutely necessary, but having a properly structured workout is a vital part of Maximum Results with the least effort in record time.

You don't have to spend tons of cash online to find the best and most cutting-edge fitness information. Fitness blogger, Clint Nielsen, has done hard work that will benefit many: He downloaded and read through 100+ free fitness courses to find the best of the best.

How long does it take to find and read over 100 free fitness courses? Here is what Clint had to say: "It took me close to
2 months to read through 100+ courses. It would have been quite a bit quicker if this was my full-time gig, but I did all of this in my spare time. More than half of the courses were painful to read. I narrowed it down to the best 50."

Clint cut that large list of free courses down to an impressive list of 50.

Along with each free fitness course listing, is a bio of each author. Clint also decided to create a voting system to rank the top 50 in order. So users can vote for the course that helps them the most.

"50 is still a big number! My hope was to create a voting system to recognize the top courses. I figured I'd keep the voting open until March 7, then announce what the people deem as the best free fitness course online. It will be fun to crown the champion in early March!"
