Hey just an average guy trying to get those sexy six pack abs. i was wondering if anybody can help. Should i just do a bunch of crunches or should i use something like the ab lounge or ab wheel? What would be the fastest way?

2 months ago I was on the same quest, a good range of sit ups, crunches, v-ups, hanging leg raises and most definately the ab-wheel. I didn't actually have an ab-wheel I used an skateboard =P Just had to be done =D
Good luck.
(P.S I found out I actually have 8 muscles so I get quite alot of looks when I'm on the beach!)

Just what Ash said. Try and nail your abs from every angle using various exercises. I do crunches on the swiss ball, bicycle crunches, and ab wheel. Make sure your cardio and diet are in-line with your routine so you aren't hiding your abs with a layer of fat..
good luck..

 | I do crunches on the swiss ball,

|
I used to do these in the gym and I literally used to shake because I thought they were tough, now I do them at home on a swiss ball but they seem quite easy, any reason why that is, I just don't feel like I'm getting the same workout from it as I used to. My core isn't ultimately strong so I thought I'd atleast feel the pain somewhat.

Ash..
I find if you position yourself on the Swiss ball so your upper body is
hanging off the ball a little lower then ball height and then come up
but only partially to retain tension on your abs and then go back down
a little lower then ball height you will really start to feel it after
about 15-20 reps. Do them at a controlled pace as well not too fast
and remember not to come up too far or you lose tension on the abs and
won't get as much of a punch from the crunches.. doing that really
works for me..
You know you came up too far when you suddenly feel the pain/tension go away just about so gauge it that way..
Also try and keep your feet and knees closer together if not completely, it places more stress on the abs as you try and balance yourself more..
Swiss ball crunches are quite a bit harder to do effectively then most people realize..
